Found a thing that used to be attached to the platter base thing by a plastic screw, but the screw broke. I doubt that’s the problem, but I’ve gotta find a tiny plastic screw to reattach it so it doesn’t contact anything by accident
The transformer is also missing both screws to hold its bracket on, and is only held on by a rubber damping grommet or something like that. So I need screws for that as well. After those things are sorted, I guess I’ll see how much I can take the motor out without having to cut wires....
